Covid hospital cases expected to double in May

  • The Public Health Agency is predicting that more patients with Covid-19 will need hospitalization in May, reports news agency TT.

  • For now, more than 25 Covid patients are hospitalized every day, but according to estimates from the agency that will double in the middle of May, reports Dagens Medicin.

  • In the scenario, which stretches from April 20 to July 20, around 60 people per day are expected to need hospitalization, due to the variant omicron BA.2.
