Critics say fast paced work program for immigrants offers nothing new

A government program aimed at getting newly arrived immigrants into jobs as soon as possible has come under fire from critics who say the program offers nothing new.

Participants in the intensive year program undergo an accelerated Swedish language course or complete a full-time internship.

But the training courses for it are the same resources which are already offered in a two-year establishment program, critics tell Swedish Radio News.
