Demonstration against new work permit rule - ”We are human, we are not trash”
People gathered outside Migration Agency offices in Stockholm Wednesday to demonstrate against the new wage requirement for getting or renewing a work permit in Sweden.
From 1 November, a person must earn at least SEK 27,360 a month to qualify, which means that some people living and working in Sweden will not be able to stay in the country.
”We have to protest this”, Rabeya Lisu told Radio Sweden, adding: ”We are human, we are not trash”.
