Government criticized for not doing enough to prevent suicides

  • The state has not been doing enough to prevent suicides, writes the National Audit Office in a new report released on Thursday.
  • Every year, the lives of some 1,500 people in Sweden are lost due to suicide, according to the report. This is comparatively high from an international perspective.
