Government re-submits budget proposal, this time with pension deal
The government re-submitted its Spring Budget to parliament on Friday, this time including an compromise proposal it reached with several parties that would boost pensions.
The ruling Social Democrats had reached the last-minute deal, this time including the Center Party, which would bring it closer to a majority in parliament.
The opposition shot it down, however, which meant there was no majority in parliament for any budget proposal earlier this week.
