Government wants to make it easier for Ukrainian refugees to find work

  • The government will ask the Swedish Migration Agency to request coordination numbers from the Swedish Tax Agency for people given the right to stay in Sweden.

  • Integration and Migration Minister Anders Ygeman says the move should make it easier for Ukrainians to begin working and earning an income in Sweden.

  • So far, the Migration Agency has granted residency permits to 32,400 Ukrainians.
