High levels of Covid-19 in Sweden's major cities

Testing of wastewater shows high levels of Covid-19 in several cities, according to researchers at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, newspaper Dagens Nyheter reports.

Despite the rise continuing in almost the entire country, Sweden's chief epidemiologist Magnus Gisslén tells Radio Sweden that people should not worry as the risk of serious illness and death is very small.

”I think it's important to remember that the situation now is very different from a few years ago because now the immunity in the population is so much better,” he says.
