How is inflation impacting wage talks between unions and employers?
Inflation for February was at 9.4% according to Statistics Sweden. At the same time salary increase negotiations between unions and employers organisations are set to be finalized at the end of the month.
But will Swedish employees get an increase in wage that reflects the current high inflation rate?
"It is a big issue. The inflation of course is very high and it affects negotiations for salaries and make it more problematic to find the right level of the pay increase", says Martin Nyberg, vice chairman at Handelsanställdas Förbund which is a union for commercial employees in Sweden.
