Family reunification
Immigration rules keep their family apart for up to a year
-
The Håkansson-Teles family has to live apart for up to a year, while father and husband Rodrigo waits to join the rest of the family in Sweden.
-
It is due to the long waiting times for migration, combined with a rule that says you cannot stay here while your case is being processed.
- "I think it should be a bit easier as a Swedish citizen to bring your family to Sweden," says Malin Håkansson Teles.
