Migration Agency clarifies rules for already submitted work permit applications

• From November 1st, the new salary threshold for work permits will be at 80 percent of the median salary in Sweden.

• And it is the official median salary, stated by Statistics Sweden, at the time that you send in your application, that is relevant here, the Migration Agency says, including for those that have already sent in their forms and are waiting for a decision.

• ”It shouldn't be dependent on how long processing times the Swedish Migration Agency has, to take decisions in the individual case,” says Carl Bexelius, legal director at the Migration Agency.
