Millions receive fake parcel delivery text messages
Millions of fake text messages about alleged deliveries have been sent out since Black Friday, and police are now warning people to be careful.
In the text messages people who have Android phones are asked to download an app to track an alleged delivery, but instead malware is downloaded which copies log-in-details and forwards the message to all the contacts in your phone book.
"That is why such a dreadful amount of people have received this message," says detective inspector Jan Olsson at the police's national IT crime unit.
