Nearly a third of all new cars sold in Sweden this year will be electric
Nearly a third of all new cars sold in Sweden in 2022 will be electric cars, according to a forecast by Swedish car industry organisation Bil Sweden.
Mattias Bergman, CEO at Bil Sweden, says that the number of newly-registered chargeable cars, both hybrid and purely electric, will increase from 45% of the market to 60% this year.
But more new infrastructure to charge these cars needs to be built, Bergman tells Swedish Radio News.
