No Swedish decision yet on diplomatic boycott of Olympics

After the USA, Canada and Great Britain announced that they will carry out a diplomatic boycott of the upcoming Beijing Winter Olympics, the issue has been raised once again in Sweden.

New sports minister Anders Ygeman says the government is aware of the ongoing discussions throughout Europe, but hasn't yet recieved a formal invitation to go.

The French minister for education today announced that the country will not take part in a diplomatic boycott, while the foreign minister wants a joint EU-decision.
