Otters making a comeback in Sweden
The otter population in Sweden is bouncing back after having been severely hit by hunting, road accidents and toxins in the environment in past decades.
Since they were put on a list of endangered species their numbers have increased again.
”They're really, really doing well. We could pretty much go out most places in Sweden and under good conditions find tracks”, says Henrik Thurfjell, Environmental Assessment Specialist at the Swedish Species Information Centre at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
