Pay gap rises for first time in 15 years
The latest labour market statistics show a widening of the gender pay gap for the first time in 15 years.
Men on average get paid ten per cent more than women and this gap widened by 0.2 percentage points in 2021.
The change is due to which jobs were lost due to the pandemic says John Ekberg at the Swedish National Mediation Office, which is responsible for gathering the data.
