Police and counties to do more to help art dealers combat money laundering

  • Established art dealers have an obligation to follow up their deals, but according to county lawyer Ann-Charlotte Broman at the county administration board of Västra Götaland, dealers must become more careful in their checks on customers.
  • "We notice in all our supervision work that those who have the legal obligation to carry out checks don't have great knowledge of the rules on money laundering," she tells Swedish Radio News.
