  • A reactor at the Ringhals nuclear power plant on the Swedish west coast had an automatic shutdown last week and was partly restarted on New Years Day.

  •  The plant tells Swedish Radio's local channel in the area that all the automatic safety systems worked as they should, and news agency TT reports that no faults were found.

  • The latest estimate is for the reactor to once again operate fully in the early hours of Tuesday.
