Social Democrats could alter party's NATO stance by end of next week
Tobias Baudin, chair of the ruling Social Democrats, said the party's board could hammer out a new policy on NATO membership during a meeting on May 15.
The party has long been opposed to NATO membership but Russia's invasion of Ukraine has forced it to rethink that position.
Next week, the government will also present a national security review from representatives from all eight parties in Sweden's parliament.
