Social services failed to act on multiple warnings about policeman's killer
A police officer was murdered by a 17-year-old in Biskopsgården, Gothenburg in the summer of 2021. Swedish Radio's investigative programme Kaliber has now reviewed an internal investigation by social services in Gothenburg into the case.
They found evidence that several reports to social services concerning the boy's behaviour led to no action — including from the boy's own mother.
She told social services she thought her son was going to shoot someone, Kaliber reports.
