Stockholm Environment Institute: 'We are in a planetary crisis'
Since June 1972, when Stockholm hosted UN's first environmental conference, only one tenth of the hundreds of goals agreed upon have been achieved.
That's according to the Stockholm Environment Institute which has co-authored a report which puts forward a series of recommendations to decision-makers ahead of Stockholm+50, a UN climate meeting marking the 50th anniversary of the 1972 event.
"We have multiple crises now", says Åsa Persson, one of the researchers behind the report which calls for bold action to address the climate, social and economic crises.
