Suspected crimes reported in more than half of commercial bankruptcies

  • Suspected financial crimes are reported to the authorities in more than half of all of Sweden's corporate bankruptcies, reports Swedish Radio's local station in Örebro.

  • In the past two years, about 14,000 companies have been declared bankrupt.

  • During the same period, trustees handling those insolvencies have made more than 8,000 reports to the Economic Crime Authority.
