  • Sweden and Poland will host an international donor conference for Ukraine in Warsaw on Thursday.

  • The aim is to get countries and organisations to commit money to help with the immediate humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, but also the country's more long-term needs.

  • In the past, Sweden and Poland have not always seen eye to eye on political matters, but Sweden's Minister for International Development Co-operation, Matilda Ernkrans, told Radio Sweden both countries have a strong commitment to Ukraine, and will both benefit from working together on this.
