  • Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson says she does not rule out Sweden sending additional arms to Ukraine at some point in the future.

  • Speaking to reporters on her return to parliament today, Andersson said the EU's support for Ukraine must continue in both military and humanitarian terms and she did not exclude further weapons support from Sweden.

  • Shortly after Russia launched its invasion last month, Sweden's parliament voted to send military aid to Ukraine, including anti-tank weapons, helmets and body armour, the first time it has sent weapons to a war zone since the Soviet Union attacked Finland in 1939.
