Sweden ready to reimpose Covid-19 measures
The Public Health Agency and the government warned on Thursday that they could reimpose its general recommendations to fight the coronavirus pandemic and a possible rising tide of infections in the coming days.
If infections continue to increase, recommendations such as to avoid public transport, to wear face masks in crowded areas and for employers to allow working from home could be brought back.
"We may have to take measures as soon as next week," Karin Tegmark Wisell, new Director General at the agency told a news conference.
