  • The Public Health Agency and the government warned on Thursday that they could reimpose its general recommendations to fight the coronavirus pandemic and a possible rising tide of infections in the coming days.

  • If infections continue to increase, recommendations such as to avoid public transport, to wear face masks in crowded areas and for employers to allow working from home could be brought back.

  • "We may have to take measures as soon as next week," Karin Tegmark Wisell, new Director General at the agency told a news conference.
