Sweden rolls out Covid booster shots as breakthrough infections rise
Breakthrough infections of Covid-19 - where fully vaccinated people test positive for the virus - are becoming more common in Sweden as more of the population gets immunized.
Health officials said that rise was widely expected and it doesn't mean the vaccines aren't effective. People that aren't fully vaccinated still make up the majority of people admitted to Swedish ICUs due to the virus.
Still, officials say they are taking steps to stop them, like rolling out booster shots for the elderly.
