Sweden summons Belarus ambassador over detained journalist

  • Sweden's goverment called up the ambassador for the Belarus dictatorship on Tuesday to issue a protest against that country forcing an EU flight to land and seize a dissident journalist. 
  • On Monday, EU member states called on Belarus to release the man and also decided that EU planes will not fly over or to the country.
  • Sweden's Prime Minister says the measures, which also include new sanctions, are in line with what he demanded.
