Sweden to lift all remaining Covid entry restrictions

  • The last remaining travel restrictions for foreign nationals coming from outside the EU/EEA will end on April 1, the government said Friday.

  • Starting next month visitors from across the globe will also no longer need to show a proof of vaccination or a negative test result when entering Sweden. Travellers from within the EEA have already been exempt.

  • The entry ban has been in place for two years to slow the spread of the coronavirus but the Public Health Agency no longer considers it "proportionate".
