Sweden to lift all remaining Covid entry restrictions
The last remaining travel restrictions for foreign nationals coming from outside the EU/EEA will end on April 1, the government said Friday.
Starting next month visitors from across the globe will also no longer need to show a proof of vaccination or a negative test result when entering Sweden. Travellers from within the EEA have already been exempt.
The entry ban has been in place for two years to slow the spread of the coronavirus but the Public Health Agency no longer considers it "proportionate".
