Sweden's vaccine goal pushed back again by almost a month

  • Sweden's goal that all adults aged 18 and over should be offered at least one dose of vaccine against Covid-19 by mid-August has been pushed back again until early September.
  • The original target of the end of June was changed to August 15 and today Health and Social Minister Lena Hallengren said the goal cannot be met.
  • "Efforts must be strengthened at all levels, " she told a press conference.
