Syrians in Sweden fear Assad regime's threat to seize property
- Many Syrians in Sweden and other countries are worried that their relatives in Syria will have their homes and assets seized by the Assad regime.
- It follows a threat by the Ministry of Defence in Syria to those who do not pay a high fine for failing to undergo military service.
- "If my family loses the apartment, they will be homeless," Abdulla Miri tells Swedish Radio News.
