  • Stockholm city released some 15,000 juvenile trout this week into an inner city bay of the Baltic Sea.
  • The annual stocking, which has happened since 1973, is done to help sustain viable fish populations for anglers in the capital.
  • Karin Ernlund, Stockholm's vice mayor for sports, says the event is more important now during the pandemic as more people take up outdoor activities like fishing.
