  • Sweden will lift most of its national restrictions related to Covid-19 next Wednesday and not require those attending large events to show proof of vaccination against the virus.
  • "From September 29, we will take a big step towards the life we had before the pandemic," Health and Social Affairs Minister Lena Hallengren said Thursday.
  • However, the government said vaccine proof might be needed in the future if the situation calls for it.
