Work permits for highly-skilled labour to be processed within 30 days
As part of the government's focus on highly skilled labour immigration, the Migration Agency has also been told to speed up and simplify the process for certain applicants.
From January next year, work permit applications for jobs requiring higher education will automatically be separated from the rest, with the aim of processing those applications within 30 days.
”This will not affect the handling time for other cases,” says Fredrik Bengtsson at the Migration Agency.
