New Social Democrat Leader Mona Sahlin Talks to Radio Sweden

Sweden’s largest political party, the opposition Social Democrats, will chose party veteran Mona Sahlin as new party leader to succeed the outgoing former Prime minister Göran Persson.

The decision by the party’s election committee was unanimous.



Our reporter Azariah Kiros caught up with Mona Sahlin as she kicked off a heavy schedule of public appearances and asked her about the how she she feels about being the first female leader in the party’s 118 year history:
