Lucrative export: Two Swedish Gripen fighter aircraft over Cape Town, South Africa

Sweden’s ams industry: a contradiction?

Sweden, a country that prides itself on its neutrality and avoidance of war for the past 200 years, also has a lucrative arms industry. But few subjects kindle so much burning controversy in Sweden as arms exports.
