Remembering the Roma Victims of the Holocaust

Sunday is Remembrance Day, in memory of the victims of the Holocaust. Eight million Jews were killed by the Nazis, along with homosexuals, political dissidents, and half a million Roma, or Gypsies.

A new exhibition has opened at Stockholm’s Museum of Ethnography about the Roma victims of the Holocaust. They are often forgotten, as George Wood heard at the opening of the exhibition:
