Sweden and Kosovo Independence

Kosovo’s self-declared independence from Serbia caused ripples of excitement, even here in Sweden, where there are many refugees from the former Yugoslavia. 

Sweden will decide whether to recognise Kosovan independence after a meeting of the Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs on March 4 with representatives of all of Sweden’s major political parties and the King.
