The US primary season is over and we finally have two (presumptive) presidential candidates: Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama. Swedes and Swedish media have been following the primary process more intensively than ever before.
Why is that? Because of the millions of Americans with Swedish background?
Or because of the fact that many Swedes have become tired of George W. Bush, a president many Swedes never loved? Michael Wood, the US Ambassador to Sweden, agrees with both explanations - and warns Swedes of blindly embracing Obama, the alleged candidate of change.
