Thomas Quick on trial (archive)

Convicted Mass-Murderer Appeals

Thomas Quick, one of Sweden’s most known mass-murderers of all times, will appeal one of his verdicts. Quick’s lawyer stated on Monday that his client will appeal the 1997 verdict in the murder case of Israeli citizen Yenon Levi. Quick was charged and convicted merely based on his own confessions.

In December 2008, Quick told Swedish media that all the confessions he made were wrong. Quick was convicted with murder in eight different cases. Today’s appeal will be the first of several appeals to come, Quick’s lawyer announced on Monday. (ah)
