Jail Sentences for Prosecutor Home Bombing

Vänersborg District Court has sentenced two men to 3 and a half years in prison each for their involvement in a bombing at the home of a prosecutor.

They will also have to pay almost 20,000 dollars in damages to former Chief Prosecutor Barbro Jönsson.

Shortly after Jönsson left her home in Trollhättan in western Sweden in November 2007 the bomb exploded in the entrance.

The prosecutor in the case told the court that the two men, aged 24 and 25, carried out the bombing for the Wolfpack Brotherhood gang.

At the time of the bombing, Barbro Jönsson was involved in several investigations involving gangs, including a case against six alleged members of the Wolfpack Brotherhood.
