Opinion Poll

Reinfeldt Outclasses Sahlin

Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt is once again outclassing opposition leader Mona Sahlin in an opinion poll. In a survey carried out by opinion research institute “Skop” 73.9 percent of the voters say that Reinfeldt is most capable of leading the Swedish government.

Sahlin receives only 26.1 percent – which is another loss compared with the previous poll carried out in March.

Sahlin is even losing support among Social Democratic voters and union members. 59.0 percent of the members of the unions’ umbrella organization LO view the centre-right Prime Minister to be the better man for the job.
