210,000 Signatures to Free Dawit Isaak

The chief editors of Sweden’s four leading newspapers handed over more than 210,000 signatures to the Eritrean Embassy in Stockholm today, all demanding the release of Swedish-Eritrean journalist Dawit Isaak, held without trial for the last 8 years together with other critics of the regime in Asmara.

Radio Sweden’s Bill Schiller met the newspaper editors at the embassy, asking about their unique joint campaign and their meeting with the embassy’s charge de affaires. He also met with an Eritrean refugee at the scene supporting the action and demanding tougher action from the Swedish government.
