Second Swine Flu Case Confirmed

A second case of swine flu has been confirmed in Sweden. A man born in 1984 came down with flu like symptoms when he returned from a trip to New York.

According to the Swedish Institute for Infectious Disease Control the man is being treated and is doing well under the circumstances. He became ill on Wednesday, showed very mild symptoms, and is currently free of fever. According to the institute’s Mia Brytting he is no longer infectious. No one he has been in contact with has shown any signs of being sick.

The first case of swine flu in Sweden was confirmed on May 6 and concerned a woman in her 50’s who had just returned from Chicago.
