Obama looks to Europe for Guantanamò Help

The U.S. administration is facing tough opposition in Congress when it comes to its plans to close the Guantanamo prison on Cuba in line with the promise President Obama gave during the presidential election campaign.

The President hopes that EU member states, including Sweden, would take some of the prisoners. But where does the EU and Sweden stand on the issue? Tobias Billström, Sweden's migration minister, says the issue has been discussed, but no common stand has yet been agreed.
