Thousands of documents are transfered from Brussels to Strasbourg every month

End This Travelling Circus

MEP's elected to Parliament this weekend will spend time in not one but two parliaments, in two countries.

The majority of time will be spent in Brussels, but the Parlaiment's formal seat is actually in Strasbourg where enshrined in a treaty, MEPs go to vote 12 times a year.

The huge cost not to mention inconvenience has infuriated the majority of MEP's who feel the historical symbolic value of the French city is no longer relevant.
