Why Did Radical Parties Do So Well?

One of the results of the weekend's election to the European Parliament has been that anti-immigrant and ultra-right parties have managed to get seats in the Parliament.

Many of these groups have picked up substantial number of votes in Austria, Britain, Denmark, Hungary and the Netherlands. 

We asked political scientist Christian Andersson of Södertörn University how one can explain their success.
