Action Plan Against Gothia Cup Swine Flu

As the International young footballers tournament, the Gothia Cup, kicks off on Monday in Gothenburg, Health Care authorities in the area have devised an action plan should any symptoms of Swine Flu be detected in any of the 34 000 young participants.

Anyone who is looking out of sorts and has a temperature will be tested for the infection and the schools which are housing the kids will have prepared empty rooms where suspected cases can be isolated, according to local Radio News.

In total, young players from 61 countries are taking part in the tournament. In many of the participating countries the infection is more widespread than in Sweden.
