According to a recent poll, seven out of ten of the Swedes can imagine to take the vaccine.
The trouble is, however, that the vaccine will not arrive in time for the first peak of the flu. It will take four months for all vaccine to arrive, with the last dose arriving in the beginning of next year. Some indications show that the peak will be here in three to four weeks, which is even before the first doses arrive. According to the Swedish Institute for Infectious Disease Control, it is still important to get vaccinated, since a second and perhaps more severe peak will come next spring or autumn.
