Updated 10:24

Over 100 students at an upper Secondary School in the the southern country of Småland are off sick, with representatives from the local council suspecting that they may have Swine Flu.

10% of all the pupils at Finnveden's Gymnasium in the town of Värnamo are currently absent, two of them have been confirmed as suffering from the Swine Flu virus, with many of the others not yet tested, according to the local council's Head of Education, Jan Holmqvist.

But the school's headmaster, Olle Gustavsson told Swedish news agency TT that parents and pupils should calm down, saying that there are always more pupils off school with common colds at the beginning of term, and that this is nothing out of the ordinary.
