Renewed Appeal:'Don't Drink While Pregnant'

Swedish health authorities have once again warned pregnant women against consuming even small amounts of alcohol. A new study presented by the National Institute for Public Health points out that pregnant women who drink just four glasses of wine per week drastically increase the risk that their child will suffer from disorders such as hyper-activity or emotional and relational problems. The renewed warning was issued in light of the fact that every third Swedish woman continues to consume alcoholic beverages during pregnancy.
