Missing Swedes Found Alive Near Samoa

The two Swedes missing after a tsunami hit the Samoan islands in the Pacific Ocean have been found alive, Swedish newspaper Göteborgs-Posten reports. The man and the woman, both in their mid-20s, had been sailing in the area when the giant wave washed over the islands.

A coastal radio station in New Zealand told the newspaper of their safety, though the Swedish Foreign Ministry has not received confirmation of the report.

According to the station, the pair have left the Cook Islands and are continuing to Tonga.
